I just wanted to make you aware of a Future Stay promotion that we have learned of for guests traveling to Walt Disney World during September 2007. You should receive some information during your trip, but just in case, you can ask about it at Guest Services if you are interested.

The promotion is for Free Dining if you book a trip for 2008 for the dates of 8/30 – 9/27/08. You have to book the trip during your September 2007 stay. Below is the information:

Book dates: Aug 31-Sept 30, 2007
Travel dates: Aug 30-Sep 27, 2008
Offer: FREE DINING

The cast member must verify that you are currently on property in order to book.

When I asked about the possibility of a 2008 Bounce Back for September I never thought it would come true but months later, sure enough it is! So I am definately booking when i'm down there in 16 days so I can get the free dining again & get my September trip paid off way before I even get my tax return which means even more money to spend on merch & my planned Backstage Magic tour! Finally some good news, I can't wait! Like I said before, at Disney dreams really do come true

So what are the benefits of booking during your stay? Is it not planning on being offered to everyone next year if it becomes available again?
IF so, then why the need to commit to it before your trip ends, unless they don't plan on offering it next year?

Because basically no one KNOWS if they will offer it or not. So you put down $200. and you Know you've got it if you change your mind or a better offer comes along you cancel.

OMGosh, does Disney notify you when you are there? We leave in 13 days and if we get offered this, I want DH to be there so he can be the one to decide we are going or he can be the one to turn it down.

Last year when they offered this people had problems finding out exactly how and where to book this. Many of the CM's had no idea about it. If you are interested in doing this you HAVE to be assertive and take care of it BEFORE you check out. If you wait until you get home (even if a CM or manager says to just call when you get home ) you will be out of luck.

Plan to start asking about this when you check in. If it is as confusing as some reported last year it may take a few days to figure out where to go and/or who to talk to in order to book this. I think some people said they had to go to another resort where a booking desk was set up (in some out of the way spot!).

I saw this earlier today. It made me cry since we had to cancel our trip. To make matters worse, SW Air released 'ding' rates and we could've flown round trip for $100 a person. I tried to find a room on property but with free dining, they're all booked up and we can't even sneak down for a weekend so we can rebook.

Free dining is so popular, it makes sense to offer it to the people who take advantage of it. Last year, they offered it to guests staying at Christmas time. If they do that this year as well, they may have their allotted rooms booked and may not offer free dining to Disney Visa holders or the general public.

The post that I posted came directly from my TA (travel agent) Thru Small World Vacations.

I tried to find out more info today so
I called WDW today and talked to a CM and they told me I basically have to wait to make the reservation when I am there later on this month. I was trying to find out if I could pay when I came back home with in the 10 days of making a reservation you have to pay the $200 to hold your trip and then 45 days BEFORE your trip the trip has to be paid in full.

That is all I know... I have to sell the idea to DH... I know we could easily do it... without a doubt especially with the FREE dining and we have more than 9 months to pay for it.


The CM said that we have to wait to book it as they want to insure that we actually are there and those that would try to creep through the cracks by booking a trip this year only to cancel in order to get the promo for next year etc....yada yada yada...but you get the point I am sure.

So we all have to wait till our trips in order to get any opportunity to book for next year.

IF I find out anything else, I will let you know.... as I am eager to book again and my first trip isn't until 16 more days!

Thanks so much Flametamr, there is some 'catch' to it but the deal can't be beat. I just wish I could pay when I get back home... and not have to budget another $200 while I am there... in which I would rather spend in the World.

I am also not sure about needing/wanting to stay at a Moderate... We are staying this being our FIRST time at AS Sports.


Hum... gives me something to think about.... I might just wait it out and see IF they offer the FREE DDP in the spring or if they announce it at all.

This at least gives me a realistic view of the present offer.
I would love to and had intentions of booking it again but I want to wait to pay at least 10 days after booking it. *sigh*

You can book by calling 8844 from your room or by calling 407-541-5515. It does say ask about other resorts and lenths of stay in smaller print.
