Promo code for AAA membership?

I have decided to bite the bullet and get a AAA membership. When you go to the IL website, there is a box you can fill in for promo codes. Does anyone know of a code that gets you below the $54 membership fee? Thanks.

I don't have a code, but I just wanted to say mine has ended up paying for itself without any major incidents. My first year of renewal I got sent a code for half price membership for family members, so now we all have AAA cards.

So far (in three years) we have used them for changing a flat tire two miles from home, dead battery in my own driveway, and stuck in a snowbank, also in my own driveway! Even more humiliating, I had the same tow truck driver who *remembered * me or our house from the snow bank incident and remarked "this isn't as bad as when you were buried in the snow" Um, thanks!


We have used probably fifty dollars of discounts per year, but it is an invaluable peace of mind, even at full price.
