A friend of mine is in MK tonight...like right now and just posted a video of them projecting the "Let It Go" scene onto the castle. Is this something they do often with movie clips/songs? Has anyone been lately and seen them do this? It looked awesome, even for a crappy cell phone camera. I wonder how often they do it?

At least once nightly. Called Celebrate the Magic, and usually precedes Wishes by about 15 minutes.

They do it every night and have done the projections for awhile now

Oh cool, do you know if the song/scene changes nightly?

Generally same show every night. However, it is highly adaptable and there are different versions for the hard-ticket parties and the basic show changes out a couple of scenes several times a year to include Disney's latest properties such as Tangled, Wreck-It-Ralph, and now Frozen.

No it's the same one. They recently added in the Frozen part and changed a little here and there, but it's the same thing every night. It's all synced with music and a few fireworks, so I'm sure it would be too much work to change it frequently.

Really only time it's changed is for holidays or certain celebrations then they might add in a few different projections. But it's generally always the same basis

Someone I know is there now and sent me an image of Elsa projected on the castle. I didn't know she was a part of the projection show now! It looks beautiful. Can't wait to see it in person!

I'm now youtubing videos...so amazing!!! I get more excited every time I find "new" things.

I saw it twice this week and both were the same and included Elsa. It was fantastic!

We have tickets to the Tomorrowland Desert Party, can you see the projected images on the castle from that location?

Last time I did the dessert party you had a great view of it :)
We did FP+ for Wishes and I thought it was very hard to see the projections. Don't know if it was the angle or what (only ever watched from the Hub until then). But I'd still do a dessert party over the sweaty Hub mosh pit any day! LOL

We did this Thursday night - sat on the storm drain immediately upon entering main street in front of the flagpole. We first watched the electrical parade at 9:00 PM facing the railroad station, then flipped around to watch celebrate the magic at 9:45 PM. We were out before Wishes started (DD 2 is severely opposed to fireworks at this stage in her life).

It was great and a first for our family, enjoy!

The projections on the castle are jaw-dropping. I can't wait for what they have planed at AK for the Tree Of Life once Avatarland is opened!

I am glad to read your post. Several years ago our family watched MSEP and Wishes in this same spot. We're visiting again in less than 2 weeks and I wondered if we'd be able to see Celebrate the Magic from here or if it'd be too far away. :)
