Project Runway

I think that most of the designers showed more promise in the first episode than they do now. I think it's very telling that Tim hasn't used his save yet and we're getting down to the final group. I don't think any of the designers have really wowed him, either.

Also he did not say good bye or hug the loser
He ALWAYS does that

That made me so sad. I love Tim Gunn and I think he was heartbroken that Swapnil didn't take this as seriously as he should.

But, Swapnil was crying. He knew he halfassed his designs. And I really like him (despite the laziness) so I was crushed no hug goodbye.

Me too
He started oout soooo good and then fizzled
And I am tired of crybaby Ashley
Her dress was horrid

I was a Swapnil fan at the beginning but he blew it himself. He didn't take it seriously, it was like he was trying to get eliminated. I felt so bad for his "client" last night, he didn't listen to a word she said.

Writing was on the wall when Tim asked, "why are you here?". Well deserved auf'ing and well deserved win.

Ashley needs to get her head in the game. Judges gave her fair warning with the no tears feedback. It's ridiculous that she's now paralyzed by the chance to design as she chooses and pick from genuine fabrics.

Oh wow....predicting Merline...is gone.....just not that great

Only Kelly made something crazy or avant- guard

Whoo....I was right,...go KELLY!!!!!

And also guessed the loser...it is so tough at end of season

I love Kelly!! She's really out there but in a charming way. I like that she really takes in what the judges tell her and she's always seems has something nice to say about the other designs.

Ashley, please step away from the purple. just once...no purple.

Edmond's dress was beautiful.

I can just picture all the AARP members rocking Kelly's dress on a Celebrity cruise...not!

Can you tell I don't like avant-garde challenges? :duck:

I agree, Kelly is a breath of fresh air, particularly in the world of fashion. No pretentiousness and appreciative and supportive assessments of her fellow designers. Her aesthetic isn't always mine, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how much I can appreciate what she's done nonetheless. I am stunned after seeing her fabric selection this week that Nina didn't go for her jugular. Ironically she's the only one who truly went avant garde -- despite her admission she wasn't sure what that meant!

When Tim was comparing Kelly's skirt to the 1700's Panier style, I know it went right over her head

Her fabric was dreadful- I think she thought alligator looked like bricks
BUT- she did Avant Guard and others didnt

The end got cut off my recording.
Can someone tell me who was eliminated....please

I'm stunned to say this, but I loved Kelly's dress. It was different and the wired effect at the chest and under the arms was just cool. So unique. Exactly what an avant garde challenge is supposed to be!

Merline grew on me (the first episode she drove me nuts) but I agreed with the judges this time. Color was beautiful, design was nothing new and execution lacked.

I didn't see the appeal in Ashley's cape, but she did a pant very well and I give her credit for that. And along with purple (although this weeks ventured into blue) enough with the crop top!

Edmund, I'd wear his stuff in a NY minute! Sexy elegance. He makes women look goooood!

Candice was ok. I wasn't as gaga over it as the judges. I thought the bust was too low. But she did a cool appliqué of the 3D.
