Project Runway Season Five -MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

OT, I have looked at Cosa Nostra's website, and for being such a great winner, his latest line, a giant snore fest.

I never cared for any of his designs. I really think Uli should have won season three.

I did LOVE Uli's designs, too. My comment was that for all the "avant guarde" stuff he did and really different stuff, his new collection looked like JCPenney.

Now I need to go see what Uli has been doing.

Yeeesssss, your Keith. *** was that?

I vote for a second Aufing. Stella, please go now. Then we have some serious talent left. I was surprised at the winner, not the dress, but the designer. Totally different and a very nice look.

Next weeks episode, more crying. And more crying. And more crying on the ads for next week.

Well, two weeks ago Daniel was (technically - team challenge) in the bottom two, and last week he was aufed. Last week, Keith was the other person in the bottom two and this week he, too, was aufed. This week, Stella was in the bottom two...

Here's a little secret I learned about PR: Nina is the goddess. She has total control over who stays and who goes. She wasn't on tonight, but the next time she is pay close attention to whose design she hates because that will be the person who goes home. It's happened the past 4 or 5 episodes and it happened 90% of the time last season. Don't mess with Nina! :worship:

Having said that, she better not be getting rid of Terri any time soon because I think she should've won at least 1 of the last few challenges. *shakes fist with rage*

*steps down from his podium*

I'll have to pay attention to that about Nina. But just as long as my loveable taneroxic stays around i'll be happy. :rotfl2:

Ok I was up way to late watching Project Runway and putting away stuff from my trip. I was having Disney PR dreams.

The challenge was to design a look based on a Future World Pavillion. So I was designing outfits for the Dirty Imagination Pavillion :-)

Nina was originally chosen to share judging duties with Anne Slowey (UGH!), but after the end of the 1st season, TPTB decided that they liked Nina's take on things (and her taste and style level) better so they kept her and let Slowey go. (I'll try to find the link to the article and post it) She has really bonded herself with the remainder of the producers in charge and therefore gets quite a bit of say, since the producers are willing to listen to her judgment. In season 2, the rest of the judges were leaning toward the other contestants, but Nina gave a very persuasive speech on Chloe's behalf which resulted in a Chloe win. The "Nina Choice" has been seen many times over the past few seasons. Most of the time I don't mind, since she really does have an eye. Sometimes, I don't quite catch the execution errors in the 5 seconds the garment is on the screen, but on subsequent re-watches of the show, I see things that Nina saw the first time.

We went to the Adventurers Club last night, so I haven't seen the episode yet. It's on DVR waiting for me.

Sorry to hear that Keith got auffed. Just read Tim's Take and Rate the Runway over on BravoTV.com. He's a hottie and I'll miss him. (not his rat-tail, though)

How in the heck is it that Korto didn't win this one? The still pictures of that coat look amazing!

I just didn't think that using just seat belts was that innovative. After all it is a fabric. It did look good though.

Tim talks about how making the seat belt webbing drape correctly was a challenge that she got right and Blayne didn't. So I can see where the innovation comes in.

I thought Leanne's was more innovative and interesting. Korto's was executed well, but it looked a lot like the coat that Laura Bennett (who was judging) made in her first episode, only with a different collar. I liked Jerell's as well, but he had a bit of the smashed b**bies going on. :confused3 The construction on Leanne's was fabulous and innovative.

the only thing left now that I am rooting for (now that Keith is gone) is for Blaine to get Auft-licious

Not killed-licious? Or even just maimed-licious?

Or the ultimate punishment! We could lock up Blayne and Third Person Suede and see who survives the longest! THAT could be fun!

Rob TOTALLY thinks Suede would win. Cuz Suede rocks it!

:rotfl2:

Rob, I agree, Corto's dress was amazing. It is something that could be made for everywoman. The winner dress was good, but I must say that Heidi's dress and that one were from the same train of thought.

Maybe we will see the coat dress in Macy's?

God, I HATE that. I'll show him whack-a-doodle. He irks my last nerve.

I should really rent Emma out to people that want to watch PR with her. It's so funny to me to see a 5 yr old's take on things. She hates Blayne-licious and Suede. She usually calls out the top 3 pretty accurately during the runway show. (Although she did scare me a little by saying that she wanted Joe's DQ outfit for Varla Jean because it was pink AND sparkly. I told her maybe for Halloween.)

Well, I think that Terri should have won the DQ challenge, I LOVED her outfit over the "Candy Hiding" outfit personally. I think Joe DQ worked the judges more and was "flirting" with them, where as Terri's didn't do that, if "s"he would have, I think they would have won.
As for this weeks, I think Korto's was the hardest execution-wise, it's hard as heck to just move those stupid things in the car, let alone to cut and sew through them. I think Blaine needed to be Auffed way back when on the first challenge and every single one since, especially the DQ one, his was falling apart for crying out loud! Suede is okay, but Craig is tired of Suede regerring to himslef in third person every so often and not all the time. Craig needs to "whack-a-doodle" Suede upside his head and see if that knocks some sense into him. I did like the winning dress, I thought she did a great job! Anywho, that's my rant, I'm done, and going back into the wings. :-)
