I had heard that Kera Saun(1st season of PR) was designing Heidi's outfits. Does anybody know if this is true?
I know Kara Saun designed Heidi's outfits for Season 2, but I don't know about this season. The diaper-dress Heidi was wearing last night didn't fit very well.
Keith assigned his team to do all the work because he knew he couldn't. Keith's comments about how he "always breaks the rules a little" combined with his apology of "I'm sorry you have a problem with me cheating" suggest to me he might have a personality disorder.
You made yourself the laughingstock Keith,
not Project Runway.
I loved Laura's comment about Angela's usual design aesthetic: "full-tilt boogie Angela quilted extravaganza ... of puff."
Bradley's non-sequitur of "She kept hounding me about the pants. Maybe she doesn't like my beard" was awesome! (Don't know if that is the exact quote but it is close.) I think Bradley might be a bit crazy but one of my friends posited the idea that he may have been enjoying some...uh...controlled substances...this episode.
I hate the Angela rosettes. I remember learning how to make those rosettes and sewing them onto vests and scrunchies in elementary school. But that was okay in the early-90s. I wonder if that is a sign of limited skill on Angela's part? Luckily Laura and Michael were able to make the rosettes look elegant. And they are skilled in construction which helped make the outfit look expensive.
The pants Jeffrey and Alison made were hot! I would wear those. They are very rock-inspired and very now. The fit of the pants and the grey top was amazing.
Overall, I wasn't terribly impressed with any of the designs. There were construction/design issues with Bonnie and Robert and the judges seem to automatically disregard those in favor of finished, well constructed designs, no matter how dull/odd/ugly etc. Does anybody else think Angela won simply because the other designer was Keith and he had just been kicked off?
