Project Runway - Season 3 Official Thread (SPOILERS!!!)

I actually really liked Laura's dress!

She and Michael are my faves. :)

I didn't see cocktail in Laura's dress - I saw baby doll.

But my fashion degree hangs right next to the legal and medical degrees :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I loved Laura's dress tonight, I was really happy to see her win, I thought it was well deserved.

I really like Michael but I didn't like his dress tonight.

Vincent and Angela were terrible.

I would like the final 3 to be-

Laura
Michael
Jeffrey

Jeffery's dress = Pirate wench costume? Pretty darn close anyway x__X I really don't like him.

KAYNE! NOO! I don't know who to root for now :confused3 .. First Robert - Now Kayne.. I'm lost without them! :sad1:

Interesting challenge though.. I try to design along sometimes - For this challenge I liked my designs a lot better than any of their deisgns..

The entire time I was hoping that either Angela would stay or that Jeffery would be out along side of Angela.. I'm not Angela's biggest fan - but his rudeness towards Angela fuels my hatred for him making me like her more.

I think the only way Jeffery's dress could be considered "cocktail" wear would be if the woman and a patron were sipping cocktails while discussing business under a streetlamp. ;) It was awful.

Kayne's dress draped beautifully in the front..I'll agree he probably needed more white to comply with the "spirit" of the challenge, but it complied with the "letter" of the challenge. I did like Laura's dress, and Michael's. I was glad Vincent and Angels left again, I wish Jeffery would have joined them.

I was glad that Laura won. She was so down after last week. Michael was great and is my favorite to win.

I understand that Kayne did not use a lot of white in his out, basicly used the smallest amount he could get away with, but to say that Jefferys was better is so wrong.

When I saw his complete look, all I could see was the opening of Pretty Woman and that his out fit would have looked good on Julia Roberts. When he told Tim he was going to make leggings out of the leather, the first thing I thought of was the boots Julia wore in Pretty Woman. Talk about a lack of taste and class, that the judges had been harping at Kayne about, Jeffery threw that out the window with this dress.

I thought that both Laura and Micheal did wonderful jobs. Loved both of these dresses. Those two seem to have become close friends on the show. Uli's dress was ok...I kinda of agree that the sleeves could have been a bit shorter, but not much. While Kaynes didn't have a lot of white, loved the look of the dress. The back was really cute. Looked a whole lot better on the model than the dressform in the workroom.
Vincent and Angela - glad they when right back where they came from.

For the final 3, my picks are:
Micheal
Jeffery - I just don't think the producers...I mean the judges, are going to send him home.
Laura

BooooHooooo! I loved Kayne. I think Jeffery is such a jerk and I never really care for what he designs.

I never understood how Vincent and Angela made it as far as they did anyway.

i was shcked they brought banck angela and vincent
also it seems like uli laura and jeff just keep maknig the same thing
that michael is the only one who doesnt do the same thing over and over

i dont think jeff should win, i think that if they had to put out a run way show all of his stuff would be the same

I agree with everything that you said. Jeffrey's "cocktail dress" was a joke. Where would that dress be considered a "cocktail dress"? In Hookerville? :confused3 I liked Kayne's dress way better, I really liked the back.

Laura's dress was right on! I also liked Michael's. :thumbsup2

Exactly what I would post. :thumbsup2 Jeffrey really needs to go. I don't understand why he's made it this far. I'll miss Kayne. They should have kept him just for the entertainment factor. I think he's hilarious! On the other hand, I think he'll make a name for himself doing pageant dresses.

Just checking in because I fell asleep before the final elimination. So Kayne was sent home :( I kind of liked him. Can't stand Jeffrey. But my vote for the final winner is Michael... love his designs!

I think is would be interesting if they developed a similar show without celebrity judges, but simply used the "average American"...for instance, one week the judges could be selected from shoopers in a mall, another week from folk sin a book store or grocery store, then some non-fashion business corporate executives (for a business attire challenge), etc.

I agree! I'm going to miss Kayne.

This week was the first week that I actually felt sorry for Laura. I'm glad they showed her having some emotions. I can't imagine all the stress from the competition on top of being pregnant. Up until this week I've felt like she was the ice queen.

And aren't we all so glad that Angela and Vincent lost again?? I would have been so upset if they would have won.

Jeffrey's dress brought a whole new meaning to "cocktail" dress IFyouknowwhatImean. What a butt he is. I liked how Nina gave him a speech about doing the same thing over and over. He always rants about others doing that but he is just as bad. He can only do rock and roll slut over and over.

Congrats to Laura. It actually reminded me of what a cocktail dress should be. Not some whacked out concoction. If it was black lace on black it reminded me a bit of the cocktail dress Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman.

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:

I going to miss Kayne's "gorgeous" comments! :cloud9:

Did anyone see the new promos for next weeks show? Seems like they are alluding to only 2 people going to fashion week?

Is Fashion Week this week or next?

Fashion week is currently going on now, and the Project Runway show is scheduled for Friday, same as Jay McCarroll's.
