I saw this on my Disney Google News feed. It is a book about the creation of WDW. Not camping related, but maybe there is a bit in there about the fort.

I have this and have read it. It is written more from a legal/land use point of view, about how all the parcels were assembled and such. Nothing in there about the Fort.

That being said, coupled with 'Realityland' they make a pretty good summary of the construction of Disney World.
