What did you take a picture of today??

Still early so I am not sure yet. I would like to take a picture of some of the wild lilacs that grow on the side of the road, but I have to find a safe place to do that.

For those of you getting stumped on what pictures to take - just think about your every day life right now. Wouldn't you have loved to have seen what your Grandmother or even your Mother's life was like when she was your age? Or known about the simple things that made her happy? Or how their homes looked?

Take a picture of each room of your house...some of your favorite trinkets and why they are..(dd10 has a small stuffed whale that she got in a kids meal from Papa Gino's and she calls it her good luck charm and keeps it in her backpack - that was the POTD one day)..your pets...out your front/back/side door....favorite plants/flowers (the lilacs for me)

Can anyone add some more ideas??

Have a good day everyone! Sun is shining, skies are blue, my kids have state testing, I take my Mom food shopping today....this is my day today.

I'm spending the day re-organizing my kitchen (and spending a little too much time procrastinating on the DIS) so my picture will be of the finished result.

I have a list of picture ideas that aren't day specific that I go to when I need a "filler" - it's long but here are a few things from it. I cobbled it together from the list that came with the 365 kit and a thread on 2 Peas.

Backyard in each season
View out the front door in each season
Places you go on a regular basis (work, the LSS, the gym, grocery store, etc)
Favorites - restaurants, article of clothing, pair of shoes, books, DVDs, place in your house, junk food, food/drink, jewelry
Outside of the house
In the house: Inside the fridge, the computer, bookshelves, closets, alarm clock
My car - inside and out
Theme weeks - my obsessions, things I collect, things that bug me/things I hate, rooms of the house

I ended up taking a picture of the cows down the road. It is the first day they are out in the field this year - even some of the babies!

Ugghhh -- I didn't take a photo!!!! Thanks for the ideas. I've been tied to the computer all day manning a swap sign up -- I suppose that is what today's photo should be -- a picture of the screen.


I have one idea to add -- have family or friends who don't live nearby email a photo.
