What did you take a picture of today?? :goodvibes

************************************************

11 months gone - who is still with me?? :)

I have pictures take for every day, but I am months behind in getting them in the book! The dumpster and whole-house cleaning project has put me behind in everything else. I may be able to get caught up when the kids are out on Christmas break.

Today dd10 is supposed to have after school art club and if she does I will get a picture of her work on display in the hall. :thumbsup2

WEll... you are ahead of me in some ways.... I haven't done all of the photos, but most of the ones I HAVE taken are caught up and in the book with journaling. I think I am going to end up having more like a PROJECT 300... but I'm not quitting yet! I figure a "mostly finished" book is better than a "totally unattempted" book. I will admit, if I had a nice small point and shoot camera I could keep in my purse, I would have done better this year. I am going to check around the Christmas sales and see if I can grab a decent one cheap for next year. Even if I don't do the P365, it would be handy to have around. I suppose I could have borrowed one of the kids' cameras, but it honestly didn't occur to me until this moment! :confused3

I have come across some GREAT photo opportunities... especially early in the morning when I am taking DD to swim and such, but I keep getting caught without a camera. The full moon was beautiful at 5:05 this morning... but alas, the camera was at home.

And here I am again... away at work for the day and won't make it home until about 9 pm... and I am without the camera again. Maybe I'll call DH and ask him to take a picture today... but he might think I'm nuts............P

I found it made a huge difference once I had a "pocket" camera that I could take everywhere with me - and I do! (it is in my pocket as we speak ready to be transferred to my purse when I go out later) I have a real nice rebel with a zoom and other lenses that I take with me on "planned" shoots, but the pocket Fujifilm is what I now use for 95% of my pictures - couldn't have done this project without it as it was always there when photo opportunities came up. With the rebel I really need to plan to lug it around, take it out of the case, get the right lens on....and so on.

Still here!

I have all but mid nov on printed and in the book, journaling cut and pasted till end of june (though not printed or placed) nor anything more scrapped but its a work in progress...

Off to Disneyland tomorrow so should have lots to choose from for the next week :)

I agree with the point and shoot as I would say 60% were taken with that vs my SLR cause I always carry it with me (and was really weird not to this week while in Utah so it ended up coming most days) its starting to show wear and tear but I know I've gotten my moneys worth this year...

I got a point-and-shoot when DS was born, and I have to agree that it has been the reason I could do this project! If I had to use the "big" camera all the time, it would be a pain! I have all of the journaling on cards up through last Saturday (11/28). I try to do each week's journaling on Monday at lunch. I have to put the pics in (going to have them printed right before our trip), but other than that, I'm caught up.

I'm already looking forward to doing this next year. At first, I wasn't, but after looking through this year's and seeing all of the changes in DS and the things I've just "forgotten" over the year, I really want to do it again!

I'm here..about 3 weeks maybe 4 behind in my book... photos have been taken, notes jotted down.....

Todays photo was of DD when she proudly displayed her LEGAL DRIVING STATUS!!!!

It ended up being a picture of DS opening the first door of his Lego Advent calendar..........P
