DH got the best picture today. Owen and I were laying on my bed reading Goodnight Moon. DH came in and said to smile. Both Owen and I turned to him with a finger on our lips to say Shhh. It came out perfect!

I found a priceless treasure today! There is a resale shop I had been wanting to explore. I found a great desk, very similiar to my gpa's (which belongs to my Dsis) A little fixin up by my DH and it will be great in my scrap room. Solid wood, really old, huge drawers, top is 4 1/2x 6 foot- for the bargain price of $30! I couldn't have been happier!

nice Vicki! i love to find a treasure! i bought my desk at a giant flea market for $40.00 and I was so excited. they guy even dropped it off on his way home. he said he had to go right by my town. and the best part about it we discovered after we had it in the house. it's from the department of defense. it has a metal tag with a serial # on it. so maybe someone famous sat at it once upon a time! or so i like to think anyway.

you're funny. she blew it straight and did my bangs different. i usually wear them back and down and she said i need to come into 2009 and just wear them down. so she put them like that. not sure if i'll keep them like that.

We read Goodnight Moon EVERY night!

My DS20 is going to be godfather to his DGF sis's baby (due this week ) and he gave the baby that book for Christmas. It was baby's first book, and she loved it!

I think we wore out that one and Pat the Bunny. Then when they were older there was one called Pigs in Hiding...OMG, I got it for DSS26 when he was 2-3, that was another one that was worn out after 3 kids...

oh deb i'll have to look for pigs in hiding. my son is huge into his books.
we have the true story of the 3 pigs. it is so funny. it's a spoof on the traditional story. the teacher told us he's reading way above where he should be. (sorry had to brag a little there)

i have ONE thing that my father wrote to me. and he's still alive, but he never writes anything. i mean he signs his cards but that's it. i treasurer that one thing. my mom not a big writer either. very little of her stuff also.

OMG! I just did a search for Pigs in Hiding...not in print, and selling for >$25. What a shame!
