Greetings from Orlando!

GORGEOUS here at the AKV! Two zebras were just outside our balcony and then the parade of 4 giraffes went by. It will be tough to pick just ONE picture each day.

We are off to DHS (MGM to us) for the day.

Today will be one of the tv shows we watch... This week is TV week... too much other stuff going on so I'm making it easy this week.. Although I wish my week was a Disney theme!

It's a toss up, either the flowers I bought for DD or the kids toy dump truck, I'm leaning more towards the dump truck. It was really cool, just sitting there at the top of the driveway.


I'm finding that this album reflects me more then the "family" for the year. It's becoming more of an artistic thing, is that ok??
Frankly we're kind of boring people, how many times can I take pics of the kids playing dress up, going to Starbucks, or riding bikes in the driveway?!

Good thing I'm still OCD about taking a bagillion pictures of everyone at events and stuff.

My first Inkscape paper piecing attempt. Although I wish I had given DH the camera today because he would have gotten some great pictures of the Boston marathon. He drives a bus and he got some great views of the women coming into the final stretch.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Project 365 was a photography thing before it was a scrapbooking thing - a way for people to challenge themselves to take interesting photos all year long. Kind of sounds like that's what you're doing - go for it! I wish I could take more "artistic" photos - every time I try it just looks silly.

Today was the printout of our flight confirmation for the Sept. Disney trip!!!!! I'm only a little off the walls.

Is it silly that I'm already planning my Disney week 365? I get down there on a Sunday and my pages start on a Sunday so it will work out perfect. I'm planning to do all pictures in all the pockets and use some of the tri-fold cards from the trip, tucked behind the pictures, to journal. That way I can stop torturing myself about trying to choose just one picture, I'll get 2+ each day this way.

Today's photo - - a glass of chocolate milk. This was quite a milestone for DS3 - -he used to love milk in his bottle. Since the bottle was taken away, milk has been a constant struggle. So frustrating since I know he likes it! Today was the first time since the bot-bot was tossed that he actually asked for milk -- about 1 1/2 years.

Today's picture will probably be of the kids with Bolt & Rhino from the movie Bolt. My ds14 is an Asperger's kid and one of his latest obsessions is Bolt. The kid is almost 6' tall so it is something to see him carrying the Bolt plushie around! Bolt & Rhino were great with the kids and Bolt was so funny when he saw the plushie! (Emily, if you happen to know the characters, please thank them for me as they made my ds soooo happy!)

Another funny picture would be of the kids with sorcerer Mickey who was across the room. When he saw the Bolt plushie he folded his arms and turned his back to the kids! Mickey wasn't happy with the competition! Very cute!

Our view is of Kidani and that place is HUGE!! It doesn't open until 5/1. It looks so nice and we hope to stay there next time.
