I'm still debating about whether this will become something physical or not, since I didn't manage to get the kit, but i have taken pictures these two days, and I'm making notes in my little mac calendar for the moment. We'll see how it works out.

So I wanted to take a sunrise picture today- So I headed to the 'beach' before my shift... It was neat to see a ferry go by on its way to the TTC/MK... Not to common a sight..

I think your pics are going to be my favorite. 365 days of Disney. Yippie.

question for y'all. are you putting this together each day or weekly or monthly? maggie

My camera keeps track of when photos are shot, so that will help a ton until I get my kit. Also, using dropshots.com free thingy. Can make notes w/ pics. We have 3 kits going on at the same time in this house. DD has jumped on the bandwagon & is starting to take pics for herself. So, that one she'll probably do them montly. I'm staying out of it besides offering to drive her to get the pics printed. I'm doing one for the family & one for Baby Robert. Each day I take 3-4 pics & one of them has something to do w/ the new baby. The family one is going in the project 365 kit binder. The baby's, I'm going to do on 12x12 paper & slide into page protectors. That way if I want to add full page layout of important events I can (not just 1 pic).

When I get my kit, I'm going to journal everyday, but print pics @ home weekly or biweekly. If I take them to Walmart maybe montly. Discount for quantity of pics printed at one time. I just love the idea of printing pics & sliding them into a sleeve & I'm done. The journaling isn't going to be a problem. I'm just going to jot down a few sentences.

We had a special family day. When I was pregnant w/ DS#1, DD & I went to bulid-a-bear & she made him a monkey in a Steelers uniform from her. He sleeps w/ it everynight. So, we went today so the kids could make one for DS#2. They made him a penguin that is wearing a firefighter costume. So I got shots of that for his book. On the way there through the mall, DS spot Kung Fo Panda on one of the TVs ran over & was jumping up & down all excited. DH let him watch for a minute, but then we had to go. So DS starts sobbing. I have pic of DS over DH shoulder sobbing. It is the cutest picture. We all could stop laughing. On the way back from making the penguin we had to pass by the same store & the exact same thing happend. So, I got a few more shots. TMI Warning - before we went there DH & I went to the urologist for a consult for his vasectomy. The doc did a brief exam while I was in the room, I was joking around w/ him & told him I should have had that be the pic of the day. He said that was grounds for divorce. LOL

Looks like they're sorting out a lot of the confusion now. I got another email confirmation, apologizing for the delay and confirming what I ordered. Apparently they are starting to ship on the 6th.

Did anyone get the kit? A friend in Canada tried the international number, never spoke to a person, and they sold out I think they are ordering more, so I plan to get one at some point!

For those doing digital, DeDe Smith finished and released her Digital 365 kit. It is HUGE. It's 450 mb of files. Tons of papers and journaling cards with some embellies too. There are also a few templates as well. I grabbed it and organized it last night, hope to start filling in the template today.

Buffy--you had asked about merging the two threads... can we still do that, unsticky it, and I'll make a new sticky for people to just update their yearly progress and maybe monthly threads ....with links to the chit-chat. Kind of like the monthly scrapbook challenge threads with the yearly one to keep track of totals?? what do you guys think?

I will start a new yearly progress thread and a Jan project 365 thread now...and whenever you or Deb get a chance, maybe we can fix the stickies!

I just renamed this one the Jan thread and put a link to it in the yearly one. To help people find things, it would be good if we could keep the main one (to be the sticky) just progress w/links to monthly things,etc....

So, Buffy, yes, if you can merge this thread with the other (first) project 365 thread, that would be great (and they will be the Jan monthly thread) And if the one that has the link above could be the new sticky, that would be great! Thanks!!!

OK everything is merged, makes for a huge thread though and some of the info is repetitive.

You may want to make a note in post 1 here that this is 2 threads merged into one so people don't get confused.

the non chat thread is stickied for you too and this one is unstuck.
