What did you take a picture of today?? :goodvibes

*******************************************

Today my ds14 will be graduating from 8th grade and heading off to the high school program in the Fall. Ds is an asperger's kid and this program literally saved his life when he went there the middle of 6th grade. He has succeeded there, made many friends and has been able to be a leader and a mentor to his classmates - something that never would have happened for him in public school. To say that I will cry today is a huge understatement... :) I hope to get some good pictures of ds with all his teachers and friends and with dh & I.

That sounds so wonderful! Take lots of tissues!

Well we have been having some strange issues with a wall in the kitchen. I have been nagging at DH to take a look and deal with it because I suspected a water leak. Last night at 11pm he decided to peel a little wallpaper and see if he noticed anything. OH YES! Major water leak damage. So at midnight last night he was still ripping out drywall and trying to determine the extent of the damage. So of course I grabbed my camera. Since the process was going on after midnight it was Today. So that will be my picture.

I will have a hole in my kitchen for quite a while I suspect. Right now it needs to dry, then we need to finish the mold clean up, then the long repair process. We still have to determine how much damage there is to the floor too.
