and my dh is out there working in it! poor guy. it just way too cold.



good one buffy.

our school system called off school yesterday because it was cold. now today is colder and they have school??
duh. someone take you head out of your butts and figure it out.

I know... I want to just drive up there, toss your DH in my car and say, "I'm taking your skinny butt home and you are going to stay inside!".... I'm sure his co-workers would love a little 5'2" blonde crying because I'm cold tossing your DH into the car! He'd never be able to live that down!

I wanted them to call off school last night...but they didn't... I mean we have the built in days.... that is what they are there for!!! It's still cold and I refuse to look to see the temp... I know I sit under a blanket all winter anyway but the kids say the house is toasty.. I had to send one back to his room because he came out in shorts.. WHAT? are you thinkin'?

and thanks for the birthday wishes for my dh. his REAL birthday is Sunday, but we are having his bday dinner at his mom and dads tonight.

i need all the power and energy to go. so somebody text me to get me out of there tonight.

oh he'll know who you are. especially if you tell his coworkers to go to the moon for making him work out in the cold like this!!!!
and there is a fabulous scrap store at the top of that street. stop by before bringing him home!!!!

ooohhhh goodness it's been a week!

NOOOOOOO, oh goodness, that HURTS. Those suckers are HOT. Are you using a comb to help hold the pieces you are ironing??? That helps a ton- before I discovered the comb I was burning my fingers, face, neck all the time. Now, it's less often.

I have 2 for today- only becaue I have to use the ones of Hope and I yesterday. When I left yesterday morning it was cold here (around 52 degrees). Anyway I was about 10 minutes from my house when I needed to see out my rear passenger window so I pushed the down button- it went down and wouldn't go up. I couldn't do anything but crank up the heat. Not only did I have the puppy in the car but it was 6:30 in the morning in the middle of no where and DH was across the state. I actually tried to call him but he didn't answer. When I got into the first town I reach about 40 minutes later I stopped looked at the window and tried to pull it up. It came up about 1/3 of the way but that was it. Anyway I finished my trip still blasting the heat to make up for the cold air swirling in. I loved my day at Disney with Hope but I have to have the car window story in my 365 book. Anyway I did get it fixed this morning at the Ford dealership where my aunt lives before coming back across the state. It cost $360 for them to get it back up!

Sorry to hear you burnt yourself on the flat iron... I do that all the time too.. last time I couldn't see it on the back of my neck.. DH asked me who gave me a hickey? Now, I refuse to flat iron the back of my hair by myself... not because I was mad about it..but I had went to town that day and everyone saw it... that is how DH found out.. someone called him on the cell to tell him!!!!

oh rebecca that's awful. i went to the drive thru at the credit union yesterday and my window would not go down. HELLO. i just looked at the lady (who i know -thank goodness) and shook my head-pointed at the window and drove off laughing) you have to have that in your book.
i'm glad you had a good time with Hope. welcome home!
