Prohibited Items?

Obviously, stuff like weapons are prohibited, but I mean, foodwise, what's allowed and what isn't? I also know WDW has restrictions on stroller size and whatnot.

No glass.

If you want to have your own sandwich, make the sandwich and bring it in. You can't bring in a jar of peanut butter, jar of jelly, etc. The "makings" arent' allowed, but the end result is.

No hard sided coolers, nothing that you pull behind you.

* Water pistols, toy guns and replica weapons, with the exception of those sold in the Disneyland® Resort
* Sporting goods or equipment (e.g., baseball bats, helmets, hockey sticks, golf clubs, bows and arrows, camping equipment, chairs, stools, tables, Frisbees)
* Weapons of any kind (including guns; knives; billy clubs; brass knuckles; and nunchucks, stars and other martial arts equipment)
* Self-defense equipment (pepper spray, mace, stun guns)
* Restraining devices (e.g., handcuffs, zip ties) or any suspicious items (e.g., box cutters, razor blades, duct tape, wire)
* Items that may be disruptive (e.g. laser pointer, slingshot, stink bomb, air horns)
* Cremated remains (e.g., urn, vase, box)
* Miscellaneous other items (tools, fire extinguishers, musical instruments, megaphones, pots and pans)
* Professional cameras and recording equipment. (Reporters must make prior arrangements with Disneyland® Resort Media Relations.) Folding tripod stands that can fit inside a standard backpack are permitted.

I have the Graco Quattro Tour Duo, it is a pretty big double stroller and it was fine. I don't think you will have any problems with stroller size.

So does the part about costumes mean no adults in costumes even for the Halloween special ticket events? it say special events children up to 12. and if so when did they start that ?

At Disneyland, yes. The Halloween event is held at DCA. Adults are allowed costumes on those night in DCA (not Disneyland) provided certain rules are followed, such as no masks.

Some of those items are pretty funny you wonder if they had issues with them and then had to add them to the list or they thought ahead?

I've seen massive strollers there. Saw a huge double, or maybe a triple, there once. They were waiting at the big gates inside DCA, waiting for a CM to open them for the stroller, because they couldn't get through the stroller/wheelchair/ECV gates. It was at DCA closing, so I don't think they'd just been booted for having too big a stroller.

Oh man! We were hoping to bring our little wagon for the kids they like so much more than the stroller . So on that note can we bring our sit n' stand in ?

Sit and stands are fine.

It's just the pulling thing can really interfere with others. When something's behind you like that, you just don't know what's going on, and people do CRAZY things at Disney anyway, trying to leap over strollers and such...you want the kids to be in front of you so you can see what people are doing.

I agree. People seriously treat your child and stroller like it's nothing. They will climb over it and they are not careful about it either. I wish I could bring a baseball bat in just to chase away those rude stroller climber over people!

Thanks for the list. "Small perfume bottles".., really? It's funny that's listed as an exception. I guess they want it to be the most pleasant smelling place on earth too... LOL.

"Cremated remains" Ummm.., yuck!

However, when we were there about 1 year after 911 (? 2 years? I can't remember).., we heard Haunted Mansion was shut down due to a "suspected terroist threat." Then it was downgraded to "suspicious powder." Then crews came in to clean. The story we got the next day..., A mom had brought her son's ashes in.., to sprinkle in the ride because he loved it so much and wanted his ashes sprinkled there.

And then the crews came up to clean him out of there. I actually felt bad for the mom.., I know she should have known better.., but she just wanted to follow his request.., she must have been mortified at being caught, being held as a suspected terrorist, and then having her sons ashes removed after all her efforts.

So, I guess they make rules for a reason........,

Not that I would ever incourage bad behavior, but I would think if you would want your beloved one's or your own ashes left behind in Disney you would aim for a Planter not a ride where Dust can easily be vaccumed up!

Ok, yes I have thought on this before but it was all from a thread that was here on the Disboard. I blame the Disboard!!!!
