I would love to have a family "portrait" picture taken at DL and am wondering if there is an option to have someone take a professional picture of our family while we are at the park?

I have taken engagement and Christmas pictures at Disneyland. What I do is take the family to the Park as early as possible on a day when I know the park is NOT busy. Usually this is on a Monday or Tuesday.

As an example, one family wanted It's a Small World as their back drop because they had just adopted three little kids from different countries around the world.

For an engagement images, I placed the subjects next to Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse's statue in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. This way I had the castle in the background.

As long as you are respectful of other guests, you shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure you do not sell the photographs to magazines.

Yes, they do have people. You will see them in DCA when you walk in, and DL when you walk in and again near the castle. Also in other places. I have a feeling when they get the photo pass system that they are planning on having more photographers out and about as they are currently hiring a bunch more people. However they are not hiring "Professional" photographers, they are hiring people interested and training them to take pictures.

In front of the floral mickey they will add Tink to the picture. They may do it other places as well, but i'm not sure.

Here's our pic taken at DL on it's 50th birthday that they added tink to

What a neat photo although I didn't see Tink at first. I would love something like this. How much did this cost?

These photos of the kids crashed at mealtime just crack me up every time! :rotfl2:

I can't remeber the exact price. It does cost the same as the regular pictures though, they don't charge more to add tink. I think it may have been around 15 or 16. When I get a chance I'll look it up.

Unless you know where Tink is, it does kind of look like it is from my daughter's shirt.

The pic of her sleeping at dinner was from the cruise last August through the Panama canal. She was just so worn out from all the fun. She tied up her napkin put it on her head and went to sleep.
