Hey everyone! I am still in progress for few Marketing PI and MI positions. However, I think my second interviews went well and have a good shot of being accepted. Since there is not much time from being accepted and actually accepted into the program, I thought Id start looking for housing options and roommates now. Below is what Im looking for. If you know any good places that fits my requirements please let me know. Also, if anyone is looking for a female roommate between the ages of 21 and 25 and have similar hosting interests as I do, please let me know!
Please Note: I am planning to relocate to FL from MI whenever I start my PI/MI. Therefore, I am looking for long term roommates and housing.
Thanks.
HOUSING PREFERENCE
Apartment House or Condo
2 4 Bedroom FURNISHED
Pet Friendly <- not a requirement but Id like a small 3-4 pound dog eventually and I am open to my roommates having pets
$500 - $600 per person (including utilities)
Includes washer and dryer
Does not have to be Orlando but not too far for the general Disney area
I do not mind sharing bathrooms but I want my own room
(I know this sounds weird) but nothing furnish with "vintage/antique looking" items- I have a very modern and contemporary style
My idea living location is CANE ISLAND. However, there is a waiting list. If I can get a group together that would like to be roommates at this location that would be cool. It would be $2200 for a 4 bedroom furnished with all utilities. http://www.caneislandliving.com
I am also looking at FALCON SQUARE on my own instead of it being company sponsored. This is because when it is company sponsored you are paying more and sharing a room and those are two no-no's for me. http://venterraliving.com/independence
NOT OPEN TO
Victoria Place
Camden [Anything] <- this is only because I have heard negative reviews about their staff if you can convenience me that it is good I am open to it
ABOUT ME
-23 years old
-CP Alumni going for marketing MI/PI positions
-College graduate (marketing & human resource management)
-Insulin dependent diabetic (I have to give myself daily shots but I do this in the morning in the privacy of my own room you would never know )
-Allergic to cats
-Not a big club go-er my idea of a good night is hanging out in the parks or watching a movie going bowling or doing some other activity
-I love meeting new people
-Quiet until I am comfortable around you but then you cant get me to shut up
-Silly
-Social drinker
-Non smoker
-I keep general living areas clean however my personal space (my room) can get messy
-Favorite cleaning duty vacuuming
-Least favorite cleaning duty washing/putting away dishes
-I like to bake
-I am all about sharing groceries and other common items I absolutely cant stand living in an environment where people walk around writing their name on everything& like really when I shop I buy stuff for the house in general not just for myself and I would expect my roommates to do the same I once had a CP roommate that pitched a fit over paper towel& lets just say that didnt last long
-#1 Pet peeve is when someone moves my stuff
-#2 Pet peeve is when roommates have company and dont introduce them... RUDE!
-#3 Pet peeve is lack of communication - I believe that communication is key to anything if we are going to live together we need to be able to talk to each other about both positive and negative things I have been in roommate situations before where I wouldn't come home because I didn't want to be in a house where no one talked to each other and everyone was angry and ignored each other it was a very hostile environment and I eventually left I couldn't take it and I don't want that
