Products you can't find anymore

Lipton noodles side dishes Chicken and bow-tie pasta! It was my absolute favorite but sadly I haven't seen it in years :(
Also, N'ICE orange vitamin C .. had a little penguin on the box. I've seen the red (cherry?) kind in stores, but no orange. I bought about $40 worth online a few years ago but my stock ran out and can't remember where I found them online! :( They are the best for dry coughs!

oh if I could bring back Fudgetown Cookies..used to love them and not sure why they stopped making them..think they were made by Keebler..oh they were delish :sad2:

Sigh...they were made by Burry's. THey were my fave as a kid....

Boil in Bag dinners. When I was younger and my parents worked nights, I had them all of the time. There was a beef and gravy one that I would pour over bread, and a chicken, cheese, and broccoli one that I loved!

There was also a chocolate candy bar that I loved. It was pretty thick, and kind of looked like malted milk when you bit into it. If I remember right, the bar was made into seperate brick like segments. But I could just be crazy on that one. I used to love them, whatever they were!

I remember the boil in a bag beef dinner. That was really good! We used to have it over bread, too. Yum.

...and not just ANY bread, either - it had to be Wonder bread!!!

yep - we ate those boil-in-bag beef dinners, too!

When I was a kid in the mid-70's, a rare breakfast treat was Carnation Instant Breakfast Bars.

They weren't anything like modern day breakfast pastries or granola bars. They tasted almost like a milk-shake.

Does anybody else remember those?

- Laura

Yep, I remember the breakfast bars.

I used to buy Revlon Flex Shampoo & Conditioner. My hair smelled sooo good.

For my WDW trips, I bought Purex laundry tablets. Can't find these at all.

Hometownfavorites.com has all sorts of candies that are from the past.If you go down to the bottom of the site, you'll find a link for hard to find grocers. They have all sorts of goodies.Check it out.:thumbsup2

I miss Loves Fresh Lemon body spray. Used to wear it as a teen. They dc'd for some reason, continued their Loves Baby Soft but didn't like that fragrance. I'm really fussy and can't wear many perfumes or fragrances and loved that light fresh lemony scent. :cool2:

Your post reminded me of Loves Rain Scent that I LOVED as a young teen, and then it was gone from stores. I decided to do a search for it, and found all of the old Loves scents, including your fave. :goodvibes

They use to have these fruit bars - they were all fruit (no ceral-type coating). They came in a variety of flavors and were rectangular and fit in this white paper sleeve...

Love those and wish I could remember what they were called...

I miss those too. I can't remember what they were called either.

Don't know if these have been mentioned...

Wacky Wafers. These were my favorite candy as a kids. They were made by Willy Wonka and I loved them!

Sucrets. What happend to these? They were the best for sore throats.
i recently saw sucrets in a Dollar General. The package has changed some from the one I remember as a kid.

we were just talking about these.
those banquet ones .we liked the chicken ala king ones & the veal parmigian

Is Jello 1-2-3 the one when three different layers show up or is that the Libbys product? I really miss Underalls and Winteralls. Those things never tore.

Oh, also...SoupStarter. It was in a cardboard canister like thing and I loved it!

I think I still have 2 or 3 cartons of Soup Starter down there. Didn't realize they didn't make it anymore..didn't they also have a Stew Starter that was really good?

They just had Kung Fu Panda 2 toys in Kellogg's cereal.

I miss Betty Crocker Cherry Chip cake mix and frosting.

Blue lemonade Kool Aid (not raspberry)

Mr. Clean Magic Reach refill pads. Local stores do no carry them.

Buf-Puf facial sponges. I have to order then online. Hate paying for shipping

Heath candy bars. I know they still have them, but are very hard to find here.

You can get Buf-Puf products on drugstore.com, free shipping with a $25 order.

This was a major must for the best cheese ball my mom could make. You can still find Pimento cheese, but there is just something off with the taste, by not having the Olive & Pimeto cheese.

The family has tried adding just a splash of olive juice and/or very finely chopped olives to the pimento cheese, but it just doesn't turn out right.

Wow what a walk down memory lane. Having grown up in the 80's i to recall alot of these products. What i find frustrating is when we vacation we fall in love with products but they dont have them here in Western Canada, yet they have them in Eastern Canada and the US.

I'm beginning to think all the products that they discontinue in that area comes here as we still have crispy m&ms, loaded baked potato pringles, raspberry gingerale, huggies presoaped washclothes for babies, bottlecaps candy, sourcream and bacon ruffles, sucrets, dunkaroos and banquet boil in a bag dinners :confused3

Today has been back on the market for a few years now :) Check your local drugstore!

Funny thing. . .I saw a package in the mark down section of the store yesterday.

Another thing I can't find anymore is Newman's Own Thousand Island Dressing. Is anybody else finding this in any of their local stores? I suspect they still make it, but none of my local stores still carry it. :(

Restraunt items that I wish they would bring back.

McDonalds - McDLT. DH and I talk about these all the time. He liked them better than I did.

Taco Bell - I think it was called Taco Light??? Go back to the late 80's, early 90's. It was bigger than the regular taco, but it had a very light, crumply shell. Also when they did breakfast, they had a double bacon, egg and cheese burrito that was to die for. So much better than those burritos McD's serves.

When I was young, in the seventies:scared1:, I loved getting some butterscotch flavored candy. They were balls, and melted in your mouth. They also had other flavors, but these were my favorite. I can't remember what they were called, and haven't seen them forever. Does anyone else remember them?
