Ok, so I haven't been to many weddings (and I think in England they do things differently), and I don't really understand who walks into the WP first and in what order etc? I think it goes-parents, officiant and groom/groomsmen, bridesmaids then bride right?

Do you have a separate song for each party? And, who will walk my Mum down the aisle? Can one of the groomsmen do it and then go back to walk with the other groomsmen?

And just one more question, what happens with the unity candle?

I think that even though both the UK and USA have their traditions, you can choose which way you would like to do it.

We are going with

the Rev
lee
the best man and MOH
Usher (My brother)
2 flowergirls
Connor and megan (our son anddaughter with the rings)
Then me and my mum

I like the way the bride is last, its like a build up.

Also I wanted connor and megan coming down just before me.

Its all personal preferance. Its your day, have it the way you would like it :)

For music we are having the same song on a loop for guests seating, the same song on a loop for all the wedding party and then a song for me and my mum.

Linz xxx :)

You can do it any way you want! We had a separate song for the parents, one for the Man of Honor and Best Man and Officiant, one for DH, and one for me and my dad. But that was a lot of music!

Sometimes the mother of the bride is escorted by one or more of her other children (if any of your siblings won't be on the wedding party), or by an usher. And some brides walk in with their mom and dad together. Have you asked your mom how she'd like to do it?

I have, I thought it would be a good idea for me to walk in with both of them, but she says she would prefer to have that as a special moment for just me and my Dad. I only have one sister who will be my MoH and I'm not having ushers, so thats why I was thinking maybe one of the groomsmen?

I think I'm gonna have a song for guest seating, one for DF parents and my mum, one for groom/groomsmen/officiant, one for BM's and one for me! But that too sounds like A LOT of music. Maybe I should combine some...?

That's about how we did the processional music - guests (including parents), officiant and DH, MOH, then me and my daddy. It was a short walk at Sunrise Terrace, so I told everyone to walk S-L-O-W! Honestly, though, we stressed over the music for weeks and after the ceremony we said the same thing - we were so excited and happy and just staring at each other, we didn't even hear the music! I chose something classical for my walk because I do not like "here comes the bride" but he could have played that and I wouldn't even have noticed!
