We last went to Universal 2 years ago and the procedure has changed since then. I need the latest info.

We will get there around 5:30-6:00 a.m. to check in to PBH. (Park opens at 7:00 for early entry.) I know they will give us hotel key cards (I assume one for each person) and I think we use those to get the early entry card from some kiosk. How does that work? Where is the kiosk?

Will the kiosk be operational that early in the morning? A 4th person will join us a few days later and may need to get her early entry card late at night. Will the kiosk be operational then?

I assume you show the card from the kiosk to get early entry/FOTL. Is that right?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

At PBH the kiosks are to the left of checkin desk. They are 24 hours a day. Take the correct room key for each person and insert into machine just like your at a gas pump. Adjust the camera, snap a shot, approve or re take the photo, out spits you photo express pass.

As for EE you need to show the actual hotel key for each person to enter the special roped off line.

Hotel key need for EE.
Photo express needed for rides.:thumbsup2

This is why I love these boards. I am sitting in my living room thinking about our September trip and I start thinking about the things we need to do when we check in----and just like magic here it is. Thank-you

Thanks so much! That was the info I needed.:thumbsup2

You guys or gals are welcome. This is the Darkside where help is always here without the drama.

Here is a photo as it's worth a thousand words.

It's left of checkin, then hall, then just beside concierge services.

I thought I read that the express passes are paper. For another paper card we used in the Bahamas, I brought a few laminating "pouches" to laminate them. Has anyone done this for an express pass? Is it necessary?

I think I also read that there was a place to get a replacement in the park if something happens to it.

Thanks!

no need to laminate them.
they are sturdy paper, same type of paper as the APs are made of.

if you lose them, you can have the express pass canceled out and remade at guest services in the parks.
