Procedure for Entering MK for MNSSHP

I'm thinking of just doing the party for my MK day. If I arrive at 3, 3:30, can I be checked in and ready to enter at 4 pm, and can I have the bag check (random scan - I always get picked) and have my wristband on and ready to enter at 4? I have a fast pass for 3:20 - 4:20 and want to be able to make it.

You can enter security but you can not go through the tap turnsitles and get your band until 4. Last year there were a few days they started at 3:45 however that is not the norm.

i made MVMCP my MK day on a very short trip last december.
we had FP+ for 3:30pm-4:30pm for space mountain.
we arrived at the park at about 3:30pm fully expecting to wait until just before 4pmto go through bag check and on tot he tapstiles.
suddenly we realized that everyone walking by us was going in for the party and entering and getting their wristband.
we ended up getting in the park with a wristband on at about 3:40pm and were at space mountain well before the 4pm entrance time.

we are going to the first MNSSHP on september 2nd this year.
we also have another MK day after that.
the only way i could get 3 FP+ was to start at 3:20pm-4:20pm.
while i understand that we were lucky last time i'm hoping for that same pixie dust this time or we'll be using the 15 minute leeway window which we have not needed to use before.

Yes, I, too got Space Mountain from 3:20 - 4:20, then I have 7DMT and just for lack of a better fp, I chose Splash Mountain as my 3rd before 7. I was on the fence with Haunted Mansion but I definitely want to do that in the evening. I'm not really into the character meets, and I'm thinking I'm going to skip most of Fantasyland.

And normily if you are 5 minutes late for your FP they will still let you in but I would not push it on purpose

I've never seen the either party line open that early. You were very lucky! Perhaps they were expecting huge crowds?

You can have your bag checked before 4pm but you can't go through the turnstile or get your wristband before 4pm. If you want to make sure you are toward he front, arrive by 3:15pm and you should be one of the first few through the turnstiles. The wristband is really quick and you'll be on your way. Also, keep checking for a different FP time if possible so you're not feeling as pushed.

This year we will have hopped to MK twice before MSSSHP so for party night we will be getting candy, pictures and people watching.
