Problems with making online reservation.

I've been trying to check prices at some of the Disney resorts from their website for several days, but keep getting a message that says "We are currently experiencing a problem with our reservation system that prevents us from booking your vacation". This has been for the past 3 or 4 days. Has anyone else experienced this problem? How can a company like Disney have their online reservation system down for that long?

I called to make a reservation on Tuesday of this week (1/2/12). The CM had to go slowly because the computers were down. She said that the computer screens weren't agreeing with the room layouts. So - yes - the computers were down.

She seemed to think that the system would be fixed by Friday (today).

That's odd because I've been browsing availability off and on all week, debating a mid-February trip, and I haven't had any issues pricing - just issues making up my mind, LOL!

Do you think it depends what browser you use? I was using Internet Explorer.

OP, I have had the same problem. A few months back I booked a stay for June and when I tried to do it online I got the same message. I just called instead and because my exact dates were not available the CM was able to quickly check dates nearby and get me what I wanted.

I was also using Explorer, and that may be the problem. I have found it works quite well from my iPad.

But, I wouud suggest just calling. Good luck!

I had problems with the phone reservation system earlier today. It kept cutting off the phone call. After about 4 times of me calling back I gave up. I'll just call later. They must be having issues lately.
