is there an offical policy dealing with this issue?
if a mistake was made & if there are rooms @ other resorts then
they should be offer per home-resort owners. if this was a
dvc
mistake, then they should cx. with points going back so they
can rebook instead of "holding".
my guess...if you are an owner, why would you book after the
7mos. period? so who booked first would also follow this direction.
why would dvc reveal any owners booking within 7mos., when
they can anticipate it would be used to manipulate toward
getting a "free" upgrade? so either way, they would make a list
based on rooms and then process what is left? besides, who
will be unhappy going back to their home resort? however,
from past experiences..if there are other rooms "open/
available" then i bet they would try to make everyone happy.
the problem might be, that dvc/& paying revs. are 2 separate
departments and may not be able to even if they have rooms?
