Problems with ADRs ? Try This!!

I was having a problem getting an ADR for a time slot I wanted at a DTD restaurant on the DDP. So I called a number I found ( 407-824-2222 ) and asked to be transfered to the restaurant. After reaching the restaurant and speaking with one of the CM. I was offered PS for anytime I wanted on the day I wanted. The PS is not thru disney it is thru the restaurant. I"m thinking if this worked once, well hummmmmmm. This tactic probably only will work for non-disney restaurants outside of the parks. But GL and see if it works for you.

I couldn't help but do a double take when I saw the number though. I am a RN in a psychiatric hospital and the number 2222 is the number we call at night for a medical emergency. It cuts straight through to the switchboard operator and the physician on call, as well as to the coordinator's beeper. Within just a few moments of dialing 2222 our unit would be swamped with staff running in from all directions to assist with whatever the emergency is. It just struck me as funny. I wonder if not being able to get an ADR at WDW could be considered an emergency.

I would be wary of it. Could've been the dishwasher or bus boy answering the phone!

Hey, I resent that. I was a busboy in college and was quite capable of taking reservations when the hostess wasn't in yet. Plus if I wasn't already working, the chef or sous chef knew they could call me and I would fill in as a dishwasher when one of the normal ones didn't show up.
