Problems purchasing online or over the phone.

Technically this happened with a Busch Gardens purchase but as they are the same systems I feel it's ok to ask here.

I've been trying to purchase two tours for my next vacation in late Jan with no success.

I tried both my partner's and my Suntrust card online and over the phone with no success (card declined). This isn't that unusual however as I'm a UK resident with a US bank account which some systems don't like.

So I said screw it and tried my UK Visa debit card, both online and over the phone, no luck, declined again.

Checked with the banks, more than enough funds and the card's aren't blocked.

So I'm at a loss. I've no idea what to try next. Anybody have similar issues? Any idea how to fix it?

Have you contacted your cc to see if there is a glitch in the system?

If the bank states the funds are there,
I am out of guesses
 
I had the same problem earlier this year with sea world San Diego. Same exact problem over the phone and online. My bank said it was sea world, sea world said it was my bank. I tried creating an account with my wife's email address and only bought one ticket with an already unused credit card. It worked. But when I tried to purchase two more tickets at the same time... no go and credit card and account got locked. I truley believe it was sea worlds system locking me out because the bank would say that the system charged the card but instantaneously refunded it. So what I had to do was create new accounts using new emails, and unused credit cards... for each ticket. This was the only solution that worked. Hope this helps.

Thanks for proving I'm not losing it at least! :)

Anyway, I tried one last time with a another different card, same result. They can't be certain but it looks like it might be something about me being a passport holder but also international (officially EZPay passports are for Florida residents only but I'm a holdover from when they allowed anyone).

So here's a different question:

Can a passport holder book tours for other people on their discount?

I ask because a friend from Florida has offered to get the tickets for me, all I need to do is Paypal them the cash. :)
