Just a heads-up for anyone who needs a visa for travel to the US.
The US database for issuing travel documents has crashed. It's a worldwide problem, not specific to any country or visa category.
The US Embassy in London will be unable to issue any visas until the issue has been resolved.
I have no idea whether this will affect those applying for ESTAs, they are not mentioned on the notice I've seen.
