I have always loved sony brand and have had a sony digital camera before, but am having all sorts of problems with the model we just bought.
Most serious -- large white spots on the pictures, almost looks like a water spot or a reflection. The spots are in different places on the various pictures, so it isn't something on the lens. I have only taken indoor pix and the spots are random as far as lighting conditions, etc. For example, I took the same type of picture a number of times with different people in it -- some have the spots and others don't.
Also, some pictures are blurry. Random. No apparent correlation to distance or lighting. The people in one shot are clear and the very next picture is blurry.
Someone told me the spots are very common on a SONY cybershot because the lens is so close to the flash. Is that correct? Does that mean I can do nothing to prevent the spots from ruining what would have been some very nice pix?
I really appreciate any feedback or advice you can provide. Thanks!
