Problem with Landry’s card rewards--problem solved!

Has anybody had trouble using their Landry’s rewards? We only use our Landry’s card at Universal and Disney and I always ask to apply any rewards. We were they last October and told I didn’t have any rewards even tho I knew I did. 3 weeks later I got an email that I had $50 in rewards but $25 would expire by Dec 30. So I lost that $25 since we don’t have a local place to use it.

Just tried this week to use it at Bubba Gumps and Joes Crab Shack (Orlando). Same thing happened both places! Used the card for head of the line seating but neither place applied the discount. BG said they would apply it but didn’t. Joe’s said they couldn’t do it without the app, which we didn’t have.

What am I doing wrong? The card is great for quicker seating but using the rewards is now a problem. I’ve had the card for years and not experienced this.

Am I the only one?
 
We’ve occasionally had them not apply our rewards at local Landry’s restaurants even though we asked them to when they took our card. DH looks at the bill when he gets it, and if they didn’t take it off, he asks them to correct it before he pays.
 

I figured it out! Apparently, you have to go to the site and redeem the rewards now instead of them being automatically added for use. We have had the card for so long that I didn't realize the change.
