Problem with Hotwire!

I am hoping someone can give me some advice about how to handle this problem. I joined Hotwire and ordered vouchers for Breakfast. They were very timely, arrived within 5 days of placing the order. I was happy. After reviewing all our plans, I decided that we needed 2 more and ordered them on Sept 1. I still have not received them. I called Hotwire, they told me they were shipped on Sept 1, billed on Sept 3rd. But, because of Labor day it could still take a few days. They do not have a tracking number. I called again today and now they are trying to tell me they were mailed on Sept 3 and to wait because it is still not 10-14 business days. I have asked to have my account credited, but they will not do that. We leave for WDW in less than 2 weeks and I anticipate a problem getting these vouchers by then, if at all. I am also afraid to cancel the membership, I read that they will not even talk to you if you don't have a membership number. I am wondering if anyone can tell me what to do to deal with Hotwire and get my account credited? Thanks in advance!!

I am not so happy with Hotwire myself right now. I have belonged for two years and had no problem with them whatsoever. Everything I ordered was shipped and received in a very timely manner. Now. they have cancelled my membership saying that my cc refused the August charge, but my cc company says none was ever made or attempted. And there would have been absolutely no reason that the charge would have been denied! They will not talk to me at all about this since my membership has been cancelled! I can understand your hesitancy in cancelling your membership for that very reason. I wish you luck.

A month ago I placed one order and received it quickly. So I ordered more and never received it. I called and was told to wait unitl 10 days passed. 10days passed and I called again, 3 days later they arrived at my doorstep.Their customer service was not the greatest IMO because the rep I sploe to had to email someone else about the problem. The vouchers I finally got were sent by DHL. I would wait until 10 days passed and call them back. If they are not helpful, then call your CC company.
 
call back and politely ask to speak to a supervisor. I had a small problem with gift cards we ordered a while back. DH and I were taking a group of people to Bahama Breeze for dinner on a Sunday evening. We decided we'd order gift cards to save a little. I called and spoke with someone and asked if I paid for overnight shipping, would the order go out that day, next day or what? He said they are shipped the same day your credit card company approves the charge as long as you order before 3:30 PM their time. If it's after 3:30 it's shipped the next day. I ordered them at 5:00 on a Tuesday so I expected them to be shipped on Wednesday and received on Thursday. No cards on Thursday. I checked my card statement online and saw a charge from them on there. Friday still no cards so I called and they told me my credit card company hadn't approved the charge yet. I tell them I SEE the charge already online so yes they had. They tell me to call the card company. I do that and verify they did approve the charge. I called hotwire again and they tell me they were shipped that day, Friday, and as long as the mail is delivered to my house on Saturday I would get it. I ask "so it went express mail with the post office?" She says "yes, maam, USPS." Saturday mail came and no cards. I call back and asked for a supervisor. I was on hold so long I really think they were hoping I would give up but when they answered they were able to give me a tracking number with no waiting when I asked for it. Turns out it was sent through DHL without Saturday delivery checked. When I tracked it I could see it was at a sort facility not far from my house so DH and I went there. We found someone nice enough to find it for us and let us sign for it so we did have them for Sunday but only b/c of that DHL employee's kindness.

Call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. Don't accept a "let me get your number and have them call you back," wait on hold. They supervisor can give you a tracking number. They will have one.

I had a similar situation with my park hoppers...they didn't show up and I kept calling...it did no good..I was passed around and around and around...and I am talking about almost $700.00 in passes...

What I did was find the Email customer service link and emailed them...within 2 days I had a Manager call me at home and he immediatley took care of the situation for me....sent new hoppers and apologized up and down.

Low and behold, the original passes showed up 5 months later in the mail!

so, my advice is to email customer service...worked great for me!
