problem with availablity tool

Just tried available tool and doesn't work. Keeps telling me ressie can't be more than 11months and 7 days from end. I'm no where near that and I tried even Sept dates.
Anyone have this problems. I even rebooted the laptop.
 
I'm encountering the same problem. The Resort Availability Tool will let me check for dates as late as August 31, 2015, but if I enter a check-in date of September 1, 2015 or later, it gives me an error message saying my vacation can't be more than 11 months, 7 days into the future.

The problem occurs regardless of which resort I check, whether its one of my home resorts or not.

Its probably a temporary glitch.
 
Your thread title states you are having booking problems. Is that part of the website broken too or is it just the availability tool? If not then you could use online booking to check for dates 11 months out at any home resorts and 7 months out for everything else.
 
Just played around with it a bit. Even though the error message is complaining about the check out date being more than 11 months + 7 days away, the message appears when I select a check-in date of Sep 1 (as wdrl discovered) without changing the checkout date.

Ex: set check in to Aug 31 2015, check out Sep 5, 2015 and it works. Change check in to Sep 1, 2015 (one day later) and I get the error message. If the code is really testing for a check out date more than 11 months and 7 days away, it should be triggering on a change in the check out date, not the check in date (and it should be doing a better job at the arithmetic!)

Set check in back to Aug 31, check out to Sep 30 and it works.

Another odd thing is that sometimes when I set the dates back to mid summer 2015, the error persists for a trial or two. Other times the error did reset once I moved the check in date to a date prior to Sep 1, 2015. So it's possible the error condition is not getting reset properly.

I also played with online booking and it is working.
 

I've periodically run into that problem when trying to look from the end of one month into the beginning of the next. Not always but the error pops up more frequently than it works. This was looking for Nov 30-Dec 3rd, 2014 just within the past month so hardly outside of 11 months.
 
That's interesting Kat. After reading your post I logged in to the members site and tried the same experiment I did earlier. Since it's now after midnight in Florida (so it's now Nov 1st) I was curious if things would work properly now and they do! I was able to check availability for a stay starting on Sep 1st. So I think you've provided the IT folks a valuable clue!

Just for fun I checked for availability for Oct 1-9 of 2015 and got this error: "The start date cannot be in the past." That error goes away if I choose Sep 30 as my check-in date instead of Oct 1st.
 
Actually I realized I indicated I was getting the error of booking too far in advance but the error I've been getting when trying Nov 30 thru Dec 3rd has been "the start date cannot be in the past". And now for the first time I just tried the availability tool for Nov 9-14th, 2014 and I'm getting the same message.

It is still Oct 2014 on the west coast (at least I thought it was!) and only Nov 1st on the east coast, isn't it?!?!?! :lmao: As I mentioned though, at times, it was ok with the Nov 30 date. :confused3 I hadn't sent a note to IT although it had crossed my mind but the booking tool itself always worked for checking.
 
just tried for Oct 1 ,2015 and it works now at 11 months out. Hope it's fixed

I always get the error message that I bolded if I try to use the availability tool after around 1 in the morning and at 6 in the morning it works fine. I think it has something to do with the days changing
