problem w/ DVC website login

HELP!!!!! I am trying to get on the new website. I have both mine and DH IDs and PINs. Neither are being accepted. Keeps telling me "there is an error with you registration". I made sure to put my PIN in exactly as it appears. Is this a common error? Did anybody else have difficulties?

How weird is this? I got a call today from DVC Quality Assurance. We just bought, via resale, in to the BCV. They wanted to know if I got my member cards, member books, etc. They wanted to know if I liked them??

Anyway, I mentioned that I can log in with my husband's DVC #, but not mine. The Quality guy told me to call member services and they would straighten things out asap.

Wow, I have not even used my DVC yet. Hopefully, if I do have any issues they will be as responsive.

What type of computer and brower are you using? Do you have it set to block cookies?

I am on a Dell running XP Pro and IE6. If I go into my Tools..Internet Options..then what???????

I was thinking you might be running a Mac. Open IE and go to preferences and click the cookies link. See if it's set to never accept cookies. IF it is, change it. Still, you might try another browser or try restarting your computer and refreshing the sign onpage, if you haven't already. Good luck.

MS does have some CM serving as troubleshooters to assist members in getting into the member site. They will talk you thru it on the phone.

Keep in mind that the login and password are used to create your personal login and aren't really needed after that point. If you already have a username for the Disney site, you can access that and enter your DVC login info and access the site thru that username in the future.

Call MS and let them assist with access.

Privacy settings are set on Medium. I manually went in and enter disney.com as a site to accept cookies. Maybe I will just have to call MS tomorrow and see what's up. Thanks!!

Just echoing what Doc said. Have you been in the site before? If so, then the ID and pasword DVC sent you will no longer work. You have to use the name and password that you used to register. If you used the same one you've used on another Disney site, it should accept that.

The last time I was on the DVC site I had to use the dvcmember/welcomehome combo. I have never used the new pin/password we got in the mail. Tried it for the 1st time yesterday and had problems. I will call MS today.
