During our last couple of trips to WDW, I had an issue with skin chaffing. The first time it happened, I thought it due to the heat and humidity. But on my last trip, it wasn't all that warm and not humid at all. Yet it still occurred. What happens is after a couple of days, I start to get very sore on my rear end, right where my cheeks meet my upper thighs. I feel like I've been whipped raw. After several days, it becomes very painful. Baby powder seems to help, but the relief is short-lived. DH thought it was humorous and referred to it as my 'diaper rash,' until he began to get a little sore on our last day too. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I'm starting to think maybe it has to do with the hardness of the water at the resorts?
I live in hot and humid Virginia and I've never had this problem at home. I've also never had it while traveling anywhere else. Any suggestions for preventing it? I've got a trip coming up in May and I don't want to have to deal with this again.
