probably a stupid question

We were on Deck 6 on the Wonder and every evening there were several mattresses in the hall. What are the mattresses for? Would that really be sanitary? They were covered in plastic, but it still worried me a bit. We are going to be in a cat 5 next cruise that sleeps 4. Are we going to get one of these mattresses? I know that may be a stupid question, but I'm a little paranoid!

There are no stupid questions!

My guess is they were simply replacing mattresses. If they are covered in plastic most likely they are brand NEW mattresses and very sanitary. In fact, it would be much MORE sanitary to have a new one.

Thanks Michelle, I didn't think of that. Now that I think about it, they did look pretty new!
