Probably a stupid question

We're going to have a car for one day for the first time at the World (I'm starting my college program!). We're staying at Coronado Springs. What do we need to show at the little gatehouse/attendant after picking up the car to prove we're staying there so we can park at the hotel?

When you're checking in, you give the guard your name and they'll look you up on their list of reservations for the day. At check-in, they'll give you a vehicle pass to put on your dashboard. Once you have that, you just need to have your magic band scanned.

If you're getting the car after you've checked in, just take the vehicle pass with you when you go to get the car.

The driver may also need to show ID at the gate when telling the guard you are checking in.

Just ask for it at check-in so you don't have to go back to the front desk. You don't need to know any details about the car, just ask for a parking pass. It also gets you into the parking lots at the theme parks.

Since you'll already have been there, and you'll likely have magicbands, when you arrive with the car, just go through the entrance without the guard right there. Put your band up to the scanner that opens the gate next to the lane with the guard. That's for returning guests, and since this is on your third day, that's what you'll be.

When you check in, you will most likely be asked if you have a car with you. If you do, you are given a parking pass to put on your dashboard. I have been asked that every single time I have checked in.....well over 30+ times!

I like to have one to put on the dashboard while the car is in the lot...that way, there are no questions as to whether or not the car belongs there. But, when you return to the resort, you will be able to just scan your MB, at the gate over to the right of the guard shack...there will be two lanes, one for those without MBs or that don't have any other form of resort card, and one for those that do.
