Prizes announced for Water Park Games - Woo Hoo...

But I do have a question. Since when were they not tradeable?

I did a search when I realized mine weren't tradeable and the first thread I found about it was either the 24th or the 26th of August. So a week or two.

Thank you so very much Peacefully!! Someone just made an offer on my pieces so I definitely will have to take them off my trading list, and let them know.

I don't like it, but this now helps to explain why they stopped the trading of the up and downhill pieces. Those new BB and TL games! They already knew we wouldn't be interested in playing them for the same stuff we already had - and could trade for!! So, they don't let us trade them, so we have to play the games if we want them. IMHO we should "boycott" the new games!

Remember when they said the ride-a-thon prizes would be from the ride-a-thon only? I won't be playing these games because I already have a ton of slide pieces I have no use for, since I got them for trading and now they can't be traded. I wonder how much they sell for...

Very good point. Why lie to your public, tell them "Sliding is the only way to get this stuff" and then slap them in the face with another side game that gives exactly what was said to be gone forever.

Extremely lame and defines misleading.

I too thought these would be exclusive only for the ride a thon, but I wonder if they meant something else?

Maybe they meant we could only get them that way, for that month. After that there might be other ways? Sort of like when we did the quests for rooms, then it was buyable. A way to get things free before they were available through other means later?

It's a VERY thin leg to stand on. But, technically that is what they said. I just don't get why they can't create a different prize. Sure makes that long weekend of sliding for like a sucker task now, doesn't it?

At least it isn't the prize that those of us who built rides received. That would really make me .

I do have to say - it would be nice if they could let us know - Hey! This item will not be trade-able soon! If you have any that you borrowed from friends - give them back now! Silly little game we play........

After playing the puzzle game, I'm glad they rehashed promised retired items.. the game is so annoying and difficult, I can't believe they expect children to play it over and over.. or actually beat it.

Better them than something better.

can i please just say to you all who are complaining about the prize being given out in this game. you should have voted more on the other items in the poll lol. On the other hand it seems like the vmk polls determine quite a bit now so those of you who want you rare to stay rare better get voting for it to never be re-released. or a lot of rare will be coming out again making almost everything in the game value less so all the extremely rare items will be out of our reach for eva lol.

Ummm...I could say the exact same thing about the Hyperspace & BiS games. And yet they still put in new prizes for those.

I really do not like that they made the slides non-tradable. My main character has all my down slides and another character has all my up slides. Gee....What they heck can I do with those?

My question is...whay don't they tell you what level or score you have to reach to get the prize???? On my 1st attempt, I bit it on level 16 of the Blizzard Beach game and got the down slide. But, could I have stopped before I got that bored and still won it?

You mean like giving an everest chair as a "special" prize for winning in the everest ride competition, then days later giving everyone access to all the chairs they can get by giving them away in a ride-a-thon?

What I do is creating a screenshot of my screen with the code and then saving it, so you can play when VMK is closed and then type the codes in VMK then it is open .. but I am not playing the game .. it is too boring for the prize we get ...

Because that is the fun of the game, either you like to play it and you dont count the levels either you stop at level 11 to go quicker

Well, this is the easiest game to "harvest" of them all - the code is laid out in front of you when you win the code. How cheesy is that!
