Private Home Rentals

We are in the beginning stages of planning a trip for next April (Easter Week)
We went 2 yrs ago and stayed at Orange Lake and loved it, the friends we rented from there are using there weeks this year.

We will be doing 4 days at Disney and 2 days at Universal.
It will be 2 Families together 4 adults and .......8 kids, ages 4-11.

We have been researching many private rentals on VRBO and have found some that seem perfect.

Does anyone have any personal experience with private rentals? Any one they would recommend? Thinking needs to be 5-6 bedroom..also trying to keep price below $1300....for Sat -Sat

I am just beginning to be overwhelmed not only by the amount of houses but also locations etc...

We stayed here:

and I would definitely rent it again. It took us about 15 min to get to WDW's main gate and about 30 min to get to US/IOA, about 20 min to SeaWorld and about an hour to Busch Gardens.

It was close to shopping, restaurants, has a private pool and backs up to conservation land.

We really enjoyed our stay there.

I can't help with a recommendation since we usually book a 4 BR home in Windsor Hills, but hopefully the following thread can help you:

I now realize that this house won't work for your group since it only accomodates 10 people.

I used a house on vrbo.com its a 4 bedroom but I think it could work for you. In Kissimmee Indian Ridge very close to WDW Doreen & her husband Steve are wonderful people and we loved being there. It could be worth it to at least take a look. There are also convertible beds & you do have little ones in the group...maybe maybe not you decide. and of course you'll have to put up with one bedrooms Red Sox decor I left them a picture of my dog in a NY Yankees shirt on their refrigerator when we left...too funny !
