Private dinner table for 3 people?

There will be 3 of us (all adults) going on the Disney Magic in about a month. Whenever we have been on other cruise brands together we always ask for a private dining table. We are more of a reserved quiet family that would rather sit at a small table instead of an assigned one with strangers.

Is there any way that we can ask for a private/smaller table for only 3 people? I've seen pictures of the different dinner locations so I know that they have 4 person tables.

Yes, you can ask. You can put in the request ahead of time. I had a table for 2 on my last cruise. It was a 4 top, but right after boarding I went to the dining changes place and asked if we had our table for 2. It wasn't already set up, but they changed it for us on the spot.

We've not had any issue with a table for 3 on our last several cruises. I don't know if it's made a difference that we were late dining, but we asked our travel agent to make the request ahead of time and when we showed up for dinner the first night it had been honored.

When you board, ask about where to go to check about your dining arrangement. It's usually in a lounge or a dining room. They'll tell you if you have a private table and manage any changes you have. On all our non-concierge cruises, we were able to get a private table that way.
