what is it? where is it? I would love to surprize my hubby with a nice quite dinner for 2 without kids running around screaming, in a romantic setting...

My youngest son did this for his proposal meal at the Grand Floridian. The menu, I believe, was from Citricos. They dined on a private balcony at the GF.

The menus you see online under the resorts for private dining are Disney speak for room service.

Private dining events like the one Pakey's son arranged can be booked by calling the specific resort. I think it's pretty common at the GF. We had one several years ago. I know people have arranged it at the Polynesian too.

Hoping you get lots of responses about the other resorts.

oh i would love the poly it more his style relaxed then the gf ty so there is a special number i can use to make reservations and is it the same price or just little extra... we have the dp reg

I very much doubt you can use the dining plan for a private event.

To arrange one, just call the resort and ask to speak to private dining. They'll help you from there.

Well, the GF special "private dining" event (not room service) includes butler service and depending on your specific food and beverage selections, the dinner usually costs around $200 plus 6.5% tax and gratuity.

How romantic does that $$$ make you feel

oh i dont mine paying for what i want, what 200-300 when your laying out 5k+ for a vacation already and dont say 200-300

my dad took my mom and is still raving about it, he say you have to do it..
