Looking into a car service to take us after our Alaska cruise from Vancouver to Seattle. Has anyone done this? Or have a good recommendation? TIA

My friends used Time Limousine, but they said Vancouver to Seattle will be about $500 Canadian plus tip, so about $400 plus tip at today's exchange rate. It is about 3 hours drive plus time for the border crossing, which on a weekend will be anywhere from 1-3 hours.

Most people choose to use the train, bus or rent a one way car rental.

we rented a car from alamo - right in the vancouver cruise terminal and drove it down to seatac, the airport in seattle (and dropped it off there)..
i rented a car so that we could stop on the way at the boeing factory for the tour (highly recommended)...

Thanks for the info. I will definitely look into it.

Thanks for the information, I looked up Alamo just now and they don't have a car big enough for our group =(
From what I saw, in Canada, a car that is a 10-12 passengers vehicle is considered commercial and we will need a commercial license.

Do you have a couple of drivers in your group, so you could split into 2 minivans? You'll need room for luggage, too, so maxing out passenger capacity may not be the best option. Or look into the train, that's what we plan to use.

Enjoy your cruise!
