Privacy question when sleeping in one of the Value rooms...

LOL That is for a trip next year.

Getting back to the OP's question-I don't think "privacy" is an option in a value room.

I got a colombia back pack from Babies R Us that I love and plan on bringing with us. No need for a sheet that is what the bathroom is for lol

I dont think just a sheet will help prevent your children from being "exposed" to woopie! We stayed at the campground and could faintly hear that going on at a nearby campsite.

I would imagine faintly hearing it at a campsite would not have nearly the traumatic effect as having your parents engaging in it less than 3 feet away would have.

My 4 yr old is smart enough to Know what goes on in our bedroom...If you think a 10 yr old won't notice you are kidding yourself. My advice the bathroom,all star Family suite, or a kids club night for the kids.I know some people are ok with doing the horizontal Mambo with the kids, or inlaws in the next bed...I am not, nor are we ... um...quiet.DH and I don't want to deal with no privacy so we scrimp and splurge on less days but stay in a 1 bdr villa.

As to knowing what goes on in the bathroom with a 10 yo, just wait until they fall asleep (not hard in Disney as they're usually konked out from all the fun), and THEN hit the bathroom. We still stay in a studio occasionally, just to keep us on our toes (oh, I'm cracking myself up here so bad! If DH reads this he's going to be so embarrassed).

There was a very funny thread on this a few months back and they decided if you "needed a sheet up" or used the "bathroom fan" then you were in the Bannana Dance Club!

I can't find it now, but it had some very creative ways to "Banana Dance" while on vacation.

We, on the other hand, had a value room with a 9 yr. old, no bathroom fan would have worked. You need something to look forward too when you get home anyway!

My DH won't even go on a vacation if we have to sleep in the same room as our now 5 yr old daughter.Private time is needed...He needs his lovin Last trip even with the 1 bdr villa I was EXHAUSTED. Didn't stop DH though.

I totally believe the word "vacation" means something completely different to most guys-they're NOT thinking mani-pedi's and relaxing with a good book.

Dh was sold on DVC when he realized it meant a DOOR between us and the kids!

I can not with my kids in the room, plus DH & I do not sleep well on a double bed together - we have a king at home. Last trip we each slept with a DD in a bed and the youngest in a crib from ABBF.

The shower after the kids fall asleep is another story.......
