Hi all,

Visiting DW for first time the week after Thanksgiving. Do I need to make priority seating reservations now or can I wait a few months? With so many restaurants to choose from, I need about three months to decide! My Mother is going with us and insists that I make the reservations now. The restaurants I'm thinking about are Spoodles, Ohana's, Coral Reef, San Angel, the Cinderella's Table dinner, and Whispering Canyon.

:thumbsup2 Welcome to the Dis!!!!

Now this is a little off topic but where I come from you can't be IU and PU fans, unless you go to IUPUI!!! :lmao:

If you are staying onsite in Disney you can start booking ADR's 190 days out from your vacation. Are you on the dining plan?

Make them as soon as you can -- especially at Cinderella's Table dinner and Whispering Canyon.

I made ours today for August and had to move dates/times/meals around.

We got all the restaurants we wanted but had to do some lunches in lieu of dinners to make it work!!

This is not correct. You can start to make reservations 180 days from date of arrival, but you may book all your reservations (but not more than ten days) at that time.

I would suggest making your reservations as soon as possible. Don't forget that these can be changed any time up to the time of the reservation if correct size of space is available for your group and a time you want is available.

I would suggest that you do San Angel and Coral Reef on days that you will be in Epcot, as park entry is required to eat at them. Likewise Cindy's must be on a day you will be in MK. You might want to get your dining reservations first and then decide on the parks to visit those days.

Similar to that it would be easiest to get to Spoodles from MGM and to 'Ohana from MK. For WCC it really does not matter, as you would have to go by bus to get there (or boat from MK) and transportation is required.

Ditto. As soon as you know when and where....CALL ASAP. I've been researching restaurants for the past 3 months. I was ready on my 180th...which was 2 days ago.

OFF TOPIC....I just noticed there's a new "smiley" over there. The tv-watchin' one. Are there any more.........?

I agree on all counts!

Dang, I was wrong :teeth: Which is amazing cause Disney never changes their policys on anything!!

Thanks for correcting me Cheshire Figment :cheer2:

This group is awesome. I'll feel as if I've been to DW before I even get there. BTW, I'm an Indiana grad and wife a Purdue grad, hence the IUPUfans.

We're on the dining plan and have park hopper to all 4 parks so there's no issue as far as which park we're in on a given day. We've got a 5 year old and a 1 year old, so we plan on visiting a park or two in the mornings, having a counter service lunch, taking a nap back at the WL and then heading to dinner at whichever park or resort it might be at.

We too will be going the week after Thanksgiving, and some of the more popular restaurants on our list...Le Cellier, Liberty Tree Tavern...at least on the days we wanted to go, had very limited choices. I called 180 days out, and got pretty much every specific time we wanted...but a couple of days later called back to try and make a couple of changes and would have had to take a dinner at 4:30 or after 8:00pm. This is one of the least crowded weeks of the year, but the good tables and time still go fast. Book whatever you can now, and you can always cancel before you leave home.
