I received these vouchers with my Passport Plus package that I just picked up from AAA. I can see the value of Priority Seating for Aladdin if it means I get first choice of seats or a special section that is up front and center, etc., but can someone explain how this works for Muppets 3D, It's Tough to be a Bug, and Animation Academy? I thought those for those shows you typically just wait for the next show and all seats are pretty much as good as another. Any opinions about this "perk?"

Yeah, the other "perks" aside from Aladdin are hardly perks at all. Basically you get first crack at best seating in the other shows. But as you mentioned, they are rarely crowded. If you go during a particularly busy time, they might come in handy, but otherwise I don't think many people use them.

The Aladdin one is nice because you don't have to show up early and you stand in a separate line with fewer people and are let into the theater first to choose your seats.

I can now answer my original post for myself. We visited DCA over Friday, Saturday, and the first half of Sunday. The park was very busy but also very manageable. We used our priority seating voucher for each show for which it was offered, and I was very pleased with the experience.

For Aladdin, it was great. We were among a group that was allowed into the orchestra section before anyone else. We chose our own seats and enjoyed the show immensely with what to us was a perfect seat in the center a few rows back.

At The Animation Academy we were ushered into the exit and seated in the center of the front row before the capacity crowd was allowed in. The cast members chatted with us as we were escorted in and waited for the others to enter, and they made us feel special.

At It's Tough To Be A Bug and Muppet Vision 3D the preferred seating voucher wasn't really needed because the theaters were not full, but still we enjoyed using it. In each theater, we were allowed into the fifth row which was roped off to other guests until we were seated. We got perfectly centered seats and enjoyed not having to jocky for that perfect seat (not that any seat is bad really), but the cast members again made us feel welcomed and special.

The preferred seating vouchers were a nice little perk that made our visit more pleasurable on a relatively busy weekend at the park.
