Priority Seating for Rainforest Downtown

Can you get priority seating for the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney? I don't see it listed on the PS only the one at Animal Kingdom. Thanks for the information.

Nope, they don't have PS's there. Though I have heard that some people have had long waits, we have always gotten seated at the RFC at DTD very quickly.

You can get priority seating at any Rainforest Cafe by joining the Rainforst Safari Club. Just show the card when you arrive at the restaurant and you'll get in the line for immediate seating.

cost is $l5...good forever as long as you eat at any Rainforest at least once a year and show the card.

After you pay your $l5, Rainforest sends you a $10 coupon good for food or merch., plus you always receive l0% off bill before tax or l free cooks choice appetizer.

This is a good deal for us. We got into Rainforest in dt disney within 5 minutes even tho ths place was packed earlier this month.

We also eat at the Rainforest at Mall of America several times a year, so the card has paid for itself already.

PS for downtown rainforest shows up on dreams unlimited requests. I just made on as a matter of fact. Only good if you booked thru them of course

You can call the restaurant to make a reseravation. Your reservation # will be the last 4 digits of your phone number.

I did this when I was planning our Christmas trip which we had to cancel.

disneyjunkie is correct. They CAN be made but you have to call them directly. 407-827-8500 They take them pretty far in advance, from what I understand. And the availability is usually pretty wide-open. Definitely make one, as the waits can be really long!! We were there on a Sunday evening (7ish) in January a few years ago and the wait was 45 minutes!!

We were at the DTD RFC Fri. night of MLK weekend. Plans were for dinner after Cirque Du Soleil 6:00 show, so we showed up at RFC around 8:00 or so. The place was PACKED inside and out. Had a WONDERFUL person not walked up to us and handed us his 8:00 seating ticket, we were looking at over an hour wait (his ticket was issued at 6:43pm for an 8:00 seating). We walked up to the hostess and asked if our "new name" had been called. She told us she was just about to call us. So we were VERY fortunate to be seated about 10 minutes after arrival.

If you have a Joe's Crab Shack in your town, the RFC Club card is also good there. You can get a card at RFC either at the door or at your table (all the staff have on buttons with "Ask Me..." referring to the card. You get your discount that night if you sign up.

If you know you will eat there, I'd get the card beforehand. Then you don't have to worry about being there at a certain time. You can walk up & get your PS when you are ready to eat. You may have to wait a few minutes, but you'd have to do that anyway. And it will save you the hassle of filling out the paperwork there. Even though we lucked out and sat down withing 5-10 minutes of walking up, we still got the club card that night for our discount & future use.
