Hi:

What telephone number can I use to make dining reservations? How far in advance can I make a dining reservation?
We will be at the Disneyland Hotel from April 24th to the 28th and we have no idea where to eat. Can anyone recomend a good restaurant?
It's been a long time since we have been to Disneyland and we are looking forward to seeing the Magic Kingdom again and DCA.

Thanks for your help,

Barbara

I'm not 100% sure but I called 60 days in advance. The number for Disney dining is 1-714-781-3469.

If you want to do a character meal I would suggest Goofy's Kitchen. It is right there at the Disneyland Hotel and is a very good buffet (a bit pricey however). I also love Hook's Pointe which is also in the Disneyland Hotel. It is a much more quiet atmosphere than Goofy's but fine for kids too. Inside Disneyland we love the Blue Bayou. Unfortunately, I think that will be closed for your visit as it inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride which is being refurbished. You can check on that when you call and make your reservations. There are many nice places to eat in Downtown Disney which you will be walking up and down as it connects the Disneyland Hotel with the parks. It has many nice shops and restaurants. We have always enjoyed the Rainforest Cafe, Naples and Tortilla Joes. You might want to pick up the 2005/2006 Birnbaums's Guide to Disneyland. I love this book, its around $15 and has descriptions of all the rides, restaurants, shopping and shows at the Disneyland Resort. Things have probably changed quite a bit since your last visit if its been awhile! This will give you an idea of what's available to see and eat so you can have some ideas before your trip. Have fun!

P.S. The number for Disney Dining is: 714-781-DINE (3463)

The number I use is (714) 781-3463 (DINE)

I like Hook's Pointe at DL Hotel (they have a lava type cake for dessert - sooo good). I also like Storyteller's Cafe at the Grand Californian Hotel.

The Jazz Kitchen is good and offers a spicy Cajun flavor to their food, and I like Tortilla Jo's, too.

At Disneyland I like Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe, Rancho Zocalo, and at DCA I like Pacific Wharf (it's rainy here today & soup in a bread bowl sounds pretty appetizing).

In my opinion there are a lot of good places to eat there.

I see that justinmom10 provided the number for Disney Dining for you, and she is correct that the time frame is 60 days out. So don't worry about making your Priority Seatings til February 24 or thereabouts. Plenty of time to research your restaurants! :)

Ariel's Grotto/Avalon Cove at DCA is another good place, especially if you enjoy character dining.

Thank you for all the good information I will do my homework and find the restaurants right for us.
