printing raffle tickets

Continuing with my interest in fundraising for my sons school....

Has anyone had raffle tickets printed?Who have you found to be competitive?

At the moment,I can only think of a company I first used for my Florida villa business cards,cost a fortune.Then I found Vista print and was gutted...so wont be using those printers again!!!

If you want to run a waffle and sell tickets to the general public in advance, then I think you may need to register with your local authority.

You local printers may know how to do this as part of the package

That's correct you will also need a named promoter who's name is the guarantee that it will all be above board

Hi our PTA always gets them printed at a small local firm (one man in a back street, basically!) and he was always very cheap, I think about £40 for 1,000.

We had a lottery licence to be able to run the raffles, not exactly sure where this came from as our treasurer always dealt with this. Also check if you need public liability cover if you're holding an event.

1st prize- weeks accomodation in luxury Florida villa
Then cant decide on order for others...
