I have a few disigns ready to put on a t-shirt. I have followed the advice about which transfers to buy, and I am ready to put them on the shirts. On the transfer instructions, they tell you how to do it with an iron and a heat press, saying that far superior results come from using a heat press. Do you guys use your irons, or have you figured out a way to get your hands on a heat press? I want the best results possible, and I would like to be able to get my hands on a heat press, but I don't want to buy on, and I doubt I can rent one, so If anyone has ideas about where I could go, I would appreciate it.

If you are just using your irons at home, I would love to know how well they turn out - especially for dark transfers.

I've only used my iron and I have had very good results. I have followed the advice of following the transfer instructions exactly.

I have read that some people have gotten their mall Tshirt place to use the heat press for a nominal fee. Some places will not do this though because of copyrighting issues but a phone call to ask couldn't hurt.
