I created this Disign:

its $21.95 to print it through zazzle.com without shipping. I've never done iron on transfer before would it be marginally cheaper to do it myself or should I just let the pros handle it?

Printing yourself will be alot cheaper than that. More importantly Disney has a great trademark team that makes sure their images are not printed without them receiving compensation...so most printing companies will not print anything with a Disney image on it because of the trademark laws. You will have to make this yourself.

You can buy a pack of transfers for about $10 and get a t-shirt on sale at Michael's or AC Moore for $2.

Thanks for all the help, i'm just concerned it won't look as good if I do it, I don't want the transfer to peel. Any suggestions on paper?

I did my very first iron transfer last night with a disign I found here on the board. I purchased t-shirts from Michaels at 2 for $5. I then got the Avery Stretchable Fabric Transfer (5 sheets) around $10. I chose this brand for no other reason than Avery is reputable and I liked the idea of a soft feel transfer and not a feeling of plastic attached to the front of your shirt.

I am VERY PLEASED with the result. The directions said to use a heat resistant surface and not the ironing board, but I opted for my ironing board as I had no alternative. I'm not sure why that was part of the directions, but it seemed to work very well. For a non-crafty person, like myself, the directions were simple and easy to follow.

My suggestion is to save your money. Even if you goof once in your learning experience, you will be money ahead. Go for it! Think of the sense of accomplishment you will have when you can say that you did it on your own.
Good luck,
Cris

Aren't Zazzle shirts basically iron-ons that they do instead of you doing them yourself?

FYI - I tired to used Zazzle for some Chip & Dale keychains for our cruise. I got an email telling me my order was cancelled due to copy writed characters.
