Printing ? for DISigners

Hey, guys, I'm confused. When I create something in photoshop, and lets say it dimensions are 5x5, and when printed it's 5x5, but when I save it and then print it by right clicking on the image, it print the whole entire page. Why is this and how would I be able to keep it a 5x5 no matter where it's printed?
