Printing Cruise Pictures with borders at a different size

I did notice while we were scrolling through all our photos that you can order printed copies without the borders. .

Just so I understand.... If there is a photo I like and want to buy the print ON THE SHIP, they CAN print it WITHOUT a border?

But If I buy the photo CD the borders automatically go on the photos on the cd?

Can someone confirm?

If so, that has happened since we decided not to even LOOK at any pictures. When we bought pictures, they were printed in the size THEY wanted and with the borders THEY chose, no changing at all was allowed.

The sizes were pre-set by Shutters, either 8x10 or 6x10. But when you select a photo for printing it will give you the option to select it with or without the border.

You can always take your own pictures. Even when the photographers are posing and taking pics. When we had pictures together, they would take one with our camera for us as well, and they came out fine. Of course, we had a good camera, so that was a plus. If you use your phone, the quality might not be so good. Also, if it's a cast member taking the picture, mention that they need to hold the button down part-way for a second. That can help sometimes.
